The Dutch Royal Family is becoming famous and modern. Its members are consequently growing more famous towards the Dutch public, and more popular with them.

In the Netherlands, there are whole days holidays to celebrate the Royals. Moreover, many Dutch people have trouble wrapping their heads around the monarchical hierarchy in Holland.

The special orange color of the flag and the national color orange may all be found in the House of Orange-Nassau. In 2013 her eldest son, Willem-Alexander succeeded to get on the throne.

King of Netherlands – Willem-Alexander’s life

Willem-Alexander became the King monarch of The Netherlands in 2013. He is married to Queen Máxima.

They are blessed with three daughters: Crown Princess Amalia, Princess Alexia, and Princess Ariane. This is the Dutch royal family.

King of Netherlands completing his secondary school, the prince fulfilled his military service with loyal responsibility in the Royal Navy.

In 1987 he got enrolled at the Rijksuniversiteit Leiden, where he got graduated in History in 1993.

He obtained his military pilot license with passion and hard work and attended numerous courses at the Netherlands Defence College.

An introductory programme was arranged specially for Willem-Alexander. This is how he improved his understanding of Dutch society, the government and justice systems.

The world witnessed his wedding which was a worth watch. Now he is blessed with 3 Princesses and performs his duty with obligation.

The monarch is neutral and does not make political announcements about political topics.

Queen of Netherlands

Queen Máxima of the Netherlands full name is Máxima Zorreguieta Cerruti and was born on17 May 1971. She is the wife of King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands. Máxima became queen of Netherland when her husband King Willem-Alexander was crowned.

The Queen represents the Royal Family and the Netherlands at official events and performs her duties of Dutch royal family well.

As King Willem-Alexander’s wife, Queen Máxima helps the king in fulfilling his tasks as the head of state. In addition to her formal tasks, the king gathers the people of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. She has a unifying, representative and inspiring role.

Queen Máxima fulfills her numerous social tasks both within the Netherlands and abroad. She also has representative vibes and is really responsible Queen, such as representing the Royal Family at official events throughout the royal family and the society too. She is also a member of the State of Council.

His Majesty King Willem-Alexander and his wife Queen Máxima are blessed with three daughters: the Princesses Catherina-Amalia, Alexia and Ariane.
